Recently, IOTA has officially launched its innovative product—IOTA ST6 Superhydrophobic Nano Ceramic Resin, a siloxane resin that has garnered widespread attention in the protective materials market due to its outstanding performance and eco-friendly characteristics.

IOTA ST6 Superhydrophobic Nano Ceramic Resin can cure at room temperature, providing long-lasting stain resistance. After full curing, its hardness can reach 5H, exhibiting excellent water repellency and a smooth, tactile feel. The product is not only green and environmentally friendly but also boasts superior performance, a smooth and delicate feel, convenient room-temperature curing, and more. It features exceptional hydrophobicity with a contact angle greater than 100° and outstanding water repellency. Additionally, IOTA ST6 possesses excellent weather resistance and high-temperature resistance, maintaining stable performance at temperatures up to 500°C.

In terms of application methods, users simply need to grind and degrease the components, then spray, brush, or wipe the nano resin (colorants and fillers can be added) onto the component surface, followed by curing at room temperature. To ensure optimal coating performance, the dry film thickness should be controlled below 10 microns. If poor leveling occurs during coating dilution, an appropriate amount of leveling agent can be added for adjustment.
