IOTA Introduces Ultra-High Temperature Curing Resin OPSZ-1800 with 1800°C Thermal Resistance

IOTA has unveiled its groundbreaking thermal curing coating resin – organosilicon poly(silazane) OPSZ-1800, engineered specifically for extreme high-temperature applications. This revolutionary product can withstand temperatures exceeding 1800°C, delivering unprecedented technological advancement for aerospace, high-temperature industrial equipment, and specialty coating applications.

OPSZ-1800 features a low-viscosity, solvent-free system with 99.99% solid content, enabling rapid curing at 200-250°C. By incorporating 0.5-1.0% radical initiators such as dicumyl peroxide, the curing temperature can be reduced to 100-180°C with flexible curing times ranging from 1 to 90 minutes, significantly enhancing processing efficiency and application versatility.

The resin demonstrates exceptional thermal stability and chemical inertness, transforming into high-performance ceramic coatings when heated above 700°C. The cured coatings exhibit outstanding physical properties with pencil hardness exceeding 9H, excellent chemical resistance, and superior thermal shock resistance. Coating thickness can be adjusted from 10-300μm with surface gloss options ranging from matte to silk finish, meeting diverse application requirements.

OPSZ-1800 is compatible with various solvents including alkanes, aromatics, ethers, ketones, and esters, with usage concentrations ranging from 10-60%. The product is particularly suited for high-temperature ceramic coatings, thermally stable anti-corrosion coatings, and non-stick coatings. Optimal ceramic conversion is achieved when substrates are heated above 425°C, ensuring maximum high-temperature protection.
