IOTA has officially launched its latest innovation – the high-temperature water-based nano ceramic coating IOTA ST4, setting a new benchmark in industrial protective coating with its exceptional thermal resistance and environmental performance.
IOTA ST4 is a high-performance water-based topcoat specifically engineered for extreme environments, featuring a high-gloss finish. The product's most remarkable feature is its extraordinary heat resistance capability, maintaining stable performance at extreme temperatures up to 900°C, making it an ideal fire-resistant coating solution for wood and other materials. As a true water-based coating, the product contains no alcohol or ester solvents, completely eliminating environmental pollution associated with traditional solvent-based coatings.
Technically, IOTA ST4 delivers outstanding performance. The cured coating achieves an impressive 9H hardness level with excellent acid and alkali resistance, while providing superior wear resistance, scratch protection, and anti-graffiti functionality. The coating also features multi-protection characteristics including dustproof, oil-resistant, and anti-contamination properties, offering comprehensive protection for substrates.
The coating offers convenient application through various coating methods including brushing, flow coating, spin coating, and roller coating. Natural curing time requires 30 minutes for surface dry and 7 days for complete curing; under thermal curing conditions, preliminary curing (5-8H hardness) is achieved in 10 minutes at 150°C, with full 9H hardness attained after 3 hours.
