A revolutionary heat-curable coating resin - silicone polysilazane IOTA OPSZ 1800 - has recently been launched to the market, achieving significant technological breakthroughs in high-temperature coating applications and bringing innovative solutions to industrial protective coatings.
IOTA OPSZ 1800 features a low viscosity solvent-free system design with 99.99% solid content, enabling rapid curing at 200°C. More remarkably, by adding 0.5 to 1.0% free radical initiators such as dicumyl peroxide, the curing temperature can be further reduced to 100-180°C with curing time controlled between 1 to 90 minutes, significantly improving construction efficiency.
The product's standout feature is its exceptional high-temperature resistance. The coating can operate at temperatures exceeding 1000°C, with peak usage temperature reaching an impressive 1800°C, while maintaining excellent thermal shock resistance. After heat treatment above 700°C, the coating transforms into a ceramic structure, demonstrating superior thermal stability and anti-corrosion performance.
IOTA OPSZ 1800 offers broad application prospects with typical usage ranging from 10-60%, compatible with various solvents, suitable for high-temperature ceramic coatings, thermally stable anti-corrosion coatings, and non-stick coatings. With pencil hardness exceeding 9H and excellent chemical resistance, it provides reliable surface protection solutions for high-end industrial equipment.
