New Organosilazane IOTA 9108 Launched, Paving the Way for High-Performance Ceramic Materials

A new organosilazane product, IOTA 9108, has recently attracted significant attention from the industry. As a ceramicizable preceramic polymer, it offers remarkable advantages such as low viscosity, high ceramic yield, excellent adhesion, and versatile curing methods.

IOTA 9108 can be rapidly cross-linked at relatively low temperatures and converted into high-performance SiCN ceramics through pyrolysis under various atmospheres, with a ceramic yield exceeding 75%. Its outstanding thermal stability allows usage up to 1500°C, making it ideal for advanced applications such as ceramic matrix composites (CMCs), metal matrix composites, high-temperature adhesives, and protective coatings.

Moreover, IOTA 9108 demonstrates strong bonding capabilities with metals, ceramics, and graphite, enabling easy processing and shaping, especially for complex ceramic components requiring high performance.

The product is supplied in sealed containers with over 99% solid content, ensuring convenient handling and storage. Users should avoid exposure to moisture, alcohols, acids, and bases during use. The launch of IOTA 9108 provides a new material option for high-tech industries including aerospace, new energy, and electronic packaging.
