A new high-performance nano-coating material, IOTA PHPS All-Hydrogen Polysilazane liquid coating, has officially entered the market. Based on inorganic polysilazane technology, this advanced coating delivers exceptional stain resistance, hardness, and weatherability, making it ideal for a wide range of high-end applications including construction, electronics, transportation, and semiconductors.
IOTA PHPS is a colorless and transparent liquid with a solid content of up to 20%. It offers excellent solubility and processability, supporting various application methods such as spray, spin, dip, and wipe coating. One of its key advantages is its ability to convert into a dense SiOx ceramic layer at relatively low temperatures. The resulting coating demonstrates ultra-high hardness (up to 10 GPa), outstanding transparency (>90% visible light transmittance), strong adhesion, and exceptional thermal stability (up to 800°C in air), along with superior corrosion, alkali, and saltwater resistance.
Suitable for use on metals, ceramics, and polymers, IOTA PHPS finds broad application in anti-graffiti coatings for rail transit, precious metal protection, electronic insulation layers, semiconductor devices, gas-barrier packaging, and high-temperature oxidation resistance. With multiple curing options—including room-temperature and moisture-assisted heat curing—it provides excellent flexibility in processing.
The product is packed in sealed metal containers, with customizable solvent systems and solid contents ranging from 2% to 20%, facilitating easy storage and transport. Users should ensure proper ventilation, avoid exposure to moisture or ignition sources during application. Unopened products have a shelf life of six months, after which performance testing can confirm continued usability.
