Recently, a product named Water-Based Nano High-Hardness Self-Cleaning Coating IOTA ST2 has drawn significant attention in the coating industry. This innovative product, which combines the features of water-based organosilicon coatings, self-cleaning coatings, high-hardness coatings, and hydrophobic coatings, is bringing brand-new solutions to numerous fields with its outstanding performance.

IOTA ST2 is a colorless and transparent liquid prepared using advanced nano-coating technology and contains nano-scale materials. When applied to the surface of a substrate, under the action of ultraviolet and visible light, it can generate hydroxyl radicals, possessing strong catalytic degradation and self-cleaning capabilities. It can not only effectively decompose various surface oil stains but also kill multiple types of bacteria and treat the toxins they release. Additionally, it has functions such as formaldehyde removal, deodorization, anti-fouling, and air purification.

In terms of application fields, IOTA ST2 performs excellently and is widely used for anti-oxidation, waterproofing, and anti-fouling treatment of metal surfaces, hydrophobic, anti-fouling, and anti-ultraviolet coatings on glass surfaces, waterproof, anti-fouling, and anti-corrosion treatment of ceramic and stone surfaces, as well as anti-fouling and weather-resistant coatings for solar cells.

The product is easy to apply, with high fastness and no residue. After spraying or dip-coating at room temperature, it dries in 10 - 30 minutes. It can then be cured by heating at 170℃ for 5 minutes or at room temperature for 1 - 3 days (with the addition of 5% - 8% curing agent). After full curing, it exhibits excellent hydrophobic properties with a water contact angle of over 100 degrees. It is transparent and colorless with high light transmittance and a hardness of up to 8H. It also has features such as aging resistance, antibacterial and deodorizing effects, and high-temperature resistance, bringing great convenience to daily life and improving the service life of solar panels.
