High Temperature Resistant Coating Method 1

Sol gel method
Raw material preparation: Select suitable metal alkoxides or metal salts as precursors, such as ethyl orthosilicate, butyl titanate, etc., and also prepare solvents (such as ethanol, methanol, etc.), catalysts (such as hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, etc.), and deionized water.
Sol preparation: Dissolve metal alkoxides or metal salts in a solvent, add an appropriate amount of water and catalyst under stirring conditions, and cause hydrolysis and condensation reactions of the precursor to form a uniform sol.
Gel formation: the sol is coated on the surface of the pretreated substrate, and the sol is further condensed to form gel by controlling the temperature, humidity, time and other conditions.
Drying and curing: the substrate coated with gel is dried at a certain temperature to remove solvent and moisture, and then cured at a higher temperature to transform the gel into an inorganic coating with high temperature resistance.
